Hello fellow teachers,
dancers, drummers, musicians, & friends!!
I invite you and/or your students
to perform a piece of your choice at our Dead of Winter
Hafla this February!! The Brewerie's Historic Rotunda
is a fabulous space in Erie's downtown, and we'd love
to see you there on Feb 20, 2010!!! (123 W 14th Street,
Erie, PA 16501 (814) 454-2200) Join us from 4-5 PM
for a tribal combinations bellydance workshop ($10)
with Akron's Anne Laing of Gypsy Soul, then from 5-6
PM we can rest up & get ready for the show! The Hafla
Show will run approx 6-8PM, featuring local and visiting
talent from our neighboring cities. We'll close with
an open drum/jam/dancing circle from 8-10PM, after
which you're welcome to travel next door to The Brewerie's
bar side to see Erie's own Shotgun Jubilee, who will
be playing their grooving live music the rest of the
evening, FREE of charge & featuring a performance
by LEBD!! Kids welcome! This family-friendly event
takes place in the Brewerie’s Historic Rotunda, the
restaurant side of the Brewerie.

Slots are available first-come, first-served.
-Performance time limit: 5 min solo, 7 min troupe.
-All styles of dance, bellydance, dance fusions
& drumming/music are welcome.
-Theme/music of your performance is your choice.
"Dead of Winter" is not a theme, just the title
of the event. Must be family friendly.
-Stage info: view photos of the performance space

The photo titled: "Balcony View East" is our performance
room. The carpeted stage is not elevated, and will
be set up on the far wall, facing out to the tables,
approx 14'X14'
-As a performer, your $5 Hafla admission is waived,
and you will have space reserved on our vending/promotion
tables, so please bring your wares & flyers/business
cards!
